What types of jewellery does Ode Collective offer?
Currently the Ode Collective online store offers a wide range of heritage-statement Indian jewellery including necklaces, earrings, rings, head jewellery, hand jewellery, sherwani buttons, turban jewellery and more. Our collection features classic designs as well as vintage Victorian designs to suit every taste and occasion.
Can you create custom jewellery designs for me?
Ode Collective currently offers a wide range of ready jewellery designs featuring polki, kundan, pearls and more. In addition to offering you a wide range, we also keep ready stock at hand to be able to service you with priority and make fast deliveries for your last minute needs. We will be refreshing our collections often, so please stay tuned to our social pages and website to check the latest pieces. Single custom creation requests will not be possible for now unfortunately.
Does Ode Collective have a physical store?
No, we only sell on our online store on odecollective.com for now.
Can I buy a single item from a jewellery set (like only the necklace from a necklace set)?
Unfortunately no. Sets are sold in combinations of those pieces and cannot be sold separately. You can enjoy using the paired earrings or necklaces separately when styling different looks in the future.
My necklace looks slightly different than its' photo on your website. Is something wrong?
When you make a purchase from The Ode Collective, you are buying pieces that are handcrafted by skilled artisans; this makes each product one-of-a-kind and may cause it to slightly differ from another. The pearls, beads and stones used in our products will also exhibit its natural distinctive differences. This is the beauty of working with natural materials; their unique characteristics should not be misunderstood to be product defects or damages.
Can I try on the jewellery before buying it?
As an online store, we do not offer such a service. All jewellery can be viewed extensively on the website with photos in high resolution that can be magnified for better view and some photos are provided with models wearing them to help understand size and proportions on the body. Please place your order after reviewing all images, product description, styling tips and dimensions if you'd like to be sure.
In the future, we will provide a Virtual Try On Tool for you to see how the jewellery looks on you before you purchase it.
I'm trying to find the perfect jewellery to match by bridal outfit, can you recommend which necklace set would suit me best?
Sure, we love to help our brides find the perfect jewellery pairing for your special day. Contact us at support@odecollective.com and we'll be happy to create your dream look. We'll probably ask you to share some photos with us once we get the conversation started.
Can I rent your jewellery to wear for one event?
At the moment, our online store features jewellery only for sale, not for rent. All our pieces are handmade, fragile and preserved exclusively for the owner to wear.
How can I make sure a necklace will fit me?
Almost all our necklaces allow free size fitting; the adjustable sarafa (cord tie) at the back allows you to adjust the necklace fit to your liking and also helps you layer it as a longer or shorter fit to suit your look.
The bangle or anklet doesn't fit, can I replace it?
Some pieces of Ode Collective jewellery are fixed sizes and require you to be sure of your measurements before purchase. For example, bracelets, bangles, and anklets will be marked with their exact measurements on the website. Please check if those measurements suit you before making the purchase online as these items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Other items like rings are typically adjustable to different finger sizes.
My ring size is too large, will your rings fit me?
Yes, all our rings are adjustable and will fit most fingers. The metal band is made with softness so that the ends can be expanded or tightened for the perfect fit.
Does Ode Collective offer resizing services for rings?
This will not be required as all our rings are adjustable and can fit most fingers.
I am new to Indian jewellery and would like to try wearing a Mangtikka. How do I keep it in place?
We're so excited to welcome you to Ode Collective and to help you create this new experience. Mangtikkas (head jewellery worn on the centre parting of your hair) is a traditional piece of jewellery worn in India during weddings by not just the bride, but also friends and family. It can be worn with your hair styled up or down. Refer to the 'Style with' feature on the product page of the website to get more tips.
Mangtikka Hack: use a small amount of safe skin glue, dress tape or double-sided tape on the back, to stick to your forehead, especially if you want to hold it in place and enjoy dancing the night away.
I'm interested in your sherwani buttons but wondering if I should get the tailoring done first and select the buttons. Please advise.
Our sherwani button collection is diverse and comes in different set quantities, shapes and proportions. We advise you to purchase your sherwani buttons once your sherwani fabric has been selected; but before you've begun tailoring it. The tailor should have both fabric and buttons in hand when starting to ensure the provision for button placement is planned ahead of time and sewn in to the individual specifications. Some sets have extra buttons to create a longer front feature than another.
Are the stones or metals used by Ode Collective certified?
Where semi-precious beads or 925 silver has been used, yes, we will be providing a certificate of authenticity card along with your order. The beads particularly will be certified by the IGS (International Gemological Sciences authority).
What metals are used in Ode Collective jewellery?
Our jewellery is crafted using an assortment of mixed metals such as brass, alloys, nickel, 4 micron gold plating and silver. Some demi-fine pieces use 925 silver.
I am allergic to some metals. Do you have any jewellery options for me?
Most of our jewellery is made with mixed metals like brass, alloy, nickel, and more as is standard practice for costume jewellery. A few of our Demi-fine pieces will be made using 925 silver, and will be listed on the product description where applicable. Please wear jewellery at your own discretion based on a professional medical opinion if you have any underlying conditions. We do not bear any responsibility for any bodily reactions you may have when exposed to the jewellery.
When will I receive my order?
The order will be shipping as per the expected release dates. Please refer to our Shipping policy to get more info.
Is it necessary to create an account to shop?
You may place an order online without creating a proper account. You can proceed as a guest during checkout. However, having an account registered with us gives you priority access to promotions and VIP offers as well as new season previews. Through the account you can also save Wish List items, view past orders multiple addresses and payment details for quicker checkout.
How will I know if you have received my order?
Once you have placed your order online, you should receive an order confirmation email along with the invoice. Once your order has been dispatched from the warehouse to the delivery team, you will receive a third-party notification of your status.
I placed an order, the amount was deducted but I didn't receive an order confirmation yet.
We are sorry to hear that. Please wait for another 15-20 minutes for the email confirmation in case there is a delay in the system processing the order. If you still haven't received the order confirmation along with the invoice, please contact us on support@odecollective.com and we will investigate the matter. Please share your direct mobile number in the email as well to help communicate faster with you.
Can I send multiple gifts in the same order?
No, to send multiple gifts please create separate orders.
Can I apply more than one discount code to my order?
No, only one discount code can be used at a time. So please use the best discount that suits your needs. Discount codes will not apply on items that are already on offer/sale/promotion.
I have received a wrong or damaged item.

There are items missing from my order.
We're very sorry to hear that. We try our best to process each order with great care and in case something has been left out, please reach out to us at support@odecollective.com with your order number and missing item details. We will investigate and do our best to dispatch any missing items as soon as possible at our cost.
Do you accept bulk orders?
Our jewellery designs are always kept ready in stock in the UAE; to ensure regular freshness we do not keep a large quantity at hand. If there is any particular item you've seen on the website that you'd like to place an order for in large quantities, please note that this would be subject to production feasibility on a case to case basis.
Please contact us on support@odecollective.com with the bulk order request and we will try our best to see if we can make it happen. However keep in mind, production & shipping for bulk orders can take up to two to three months. If you are looking to get it quicker, this will unfortunately not be possible.
Do you offer discounts for a bigger order?
Our prices are fixed on the website. Sign up and create an account on the website; and then look out for seasonal offers in the future once you're registered into our database to be up to date.
How do I place an order as a gift?
Apart from our standard premium packaging, you can select a Gift Service feature on Check out if you wish to gift any of our jewellery pieces to your loved ones. Gifting can be ensured in one of two ways:
  1. We keep the parcel gift-ready for you, deliver to your address, and you pass it on by hand to the recipient later on, or
  2. On the check out page, the address you provide is of the recipient and you require us to hand it over to them directly at their address

We recommend option 1 from the above to avoid any inconveniences with drop off acceptance, availability at that address, timings etc.

Below are the steps to select our Gift Service feature:

  1. Complete your jewellery selection
  2. Go to Cart page
  3. Click on "This is a Gift" button
  4. Enter the message you'd like us to handwrite on the message tag
  5. Complete the Check Out & Payment

NOTE - in orders where "This is a Gift" button has been selected, the physical invoice WILL NOT be included into the carry bag.

Please note that return & exchange will not be possible once the 2-hour window has passed upon delivery. So if you will be handing over the gift by hand directly, you may inspect the package if you wish.

Do you offer gift cards?
No, unfortunately we do not at present.
Can you personalize the gift packaging?
Our standard product packaging has been produced in very high quality, designed bespoke to suit each type of jewellery we sell and with extra attention to detail. We love to commission real artists to create custom pieces of art for our seasonal gift boxes, to create an authentic unboxing moment for our clients unlike any other.

If you have selected the gifting service option at check out, your order will be completed with an additional finishing touch as follows:

  • Velvet or Chiffon ribbons
  • Custom tissue paper stuffing in carry bag
  • Premium Message Tag to hang on the outer bag with your customized handwritten message

Can I change or amend the items in my order once placed?
No, unfortunately we cannot provide that option on our online store.
What payment methods can I use to pay for purchases online?
You can use credit/debit cards at present (including Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Union). You may also use Apple Pay for quicker & secure transactions.
Can I pay Cash on Delivery?
No, this service is not possible at present.

 

My promocode isn't working on check out. What could be wrong?
There are a few reasons why your promo code might not be working:

  • Validity and Terms: Promo codes have specific terms and conditions, make sure you're using the code before it expires, and check if your purchase meets the criteria stated in the terms.
  • Exclusivity: Some codes may be limited to a specific items only and limited to single use only. If you've already used the code, it won't work again.
  • Exclusions Apply: Keep in mind that certain items, like semi-precious jewellery and new arrivals, may not be eligible for the discount. Make sure your chosen items qualify for the offer.
  • Combining Offers: Promo codes usually cannot be used with other offers, sales, or promotions. Check if you're trying to use the code alongside another deal.

How do I track my order?
Once your order confirmation email has come through, tracking your order will be easy:

  1. You will receive a tracking link via WhatsApp (please ensure that the mobile number provided for the order has that app downloaded) that will help you track the order
  2. These are the stages you will be notified at on your WhatsApp:
    1. Order is out for delivery
    2. Order delivered successfully
    3. Delivery Failed
For exceptional cases:

  1. Return order has been placed
  2. Return order is out for collection
  3. Return order collection failed
I missed my delivery; how do I get the order reshipped?
For Express Shipping:
This priority delivery service aims to bring you your order within 4 hours. Please ensure someone is available to receive it during that time. Only one attempt will be made to deliver on that day; if that is missed, the shipping partner will return the order to our warehouse. We will have to reprocess the order and recharge you for delivery. Refunds & Exchanges due to missed deliveries will not be accepted.

For Standard Shipping:
Don't worry. The order will likely get reshipped to you automatically by our third-party delivery partner. Kindly ensure someone is at the location to receive the delivery and open the door. After the two failed attempts, the shipping partner will contact you to reschedule and confirm a third attempt. A total of 3 attempts will be made to deliver to your address. After which, they will return the order to our warehouse and a new delivery will have to be recharged. Refunds & Exchanges due to missed deliveries will not be accepted.
My order was delivered to the wrong address. What do I do?
If you believe your order was sent to the wrong address, one that does not appear on the order confirmation, please contact us on support@odecollective.com and we will investigate the matter and get back to you within 2-3 days. Any wrongdoing on our part will be resolved by a complimentary shipping to your correct registered address.

How can I expedite my order delivery?
We have different shipping options available for your order depending on your location. Please refer to Shipping Policy for more information.
Do you deliver outside the UAE?
Currently we deliver across the UAE only. However, we will be expanding our shipping to the GCC very soon, followed by international shipping in the future. Follow our social accounts and website to stay up to date. If you have an urgent requirement in the GCC and need our jewellery delivered for an important event, please allow for sufficient time to organize, contact us on support@odecollective.com and we will try our best to find a solution.
Can I return or exchange jewellery purchased from Ode Collective?

Can I return a gift?

No, unfortunately we do not accept any returns and exchanges.

Do you do repairs? Something broke / fell off from my jewellery.
We take great effort in undergoing quality control checks while packing your order to ensure you receive your order free of any damages or missing pieces. However, as these items are handmade in nature and extremely delicate and fragile, it is essential that they are handled gently and stored without folding or bending into smaller spaces. If after wearing the piece anything has come loose, chains broken or stones/beads fallen, please collect the loose pieces and keep it aside. Most of these issues can be easily repaired. We can assist in repairing the jewellery with our technicians as a paid service; Contact us on support@odecollective.com and we will coordinate the pick up /drop off to your convenience. Repairs may take up to a week or more given the extent of work required.
Why is the color of my jewellery fading?
Ode Collective jewellery is crafted using a mix of many different types of metals, for example brass, nickel, alloys, silver and more. Metals in jewelry fade over time due to a process called tarnishing, which is a chemical reaction between the metal and substances like sulfur, oxygen, and moisture in the air or from your skin. This reaction forms a layer of tarnish on the surface of the metal, causing it to appear dull or discolored. Please avoid the metals being exposed to substances like perfumes, lotions, oils, chlorine, salt water, alcohol, chemicals and other abrasive liquids.

What is the warranty on Ode Collective jewellery?
Given that our costume jewellery pieces are handmade jewellery using mixed metals and are fragile in their nature, we do not offer any warranty.

How can I care for and maintain my Ode Collective jewellery?
These pieces of jewellery require to be handled with care and maintained over time to help it last longer and preserve its original polished appearance. Please follow the do's and dont's below:

Do's:

  1. Wipe After Each Wear

    Gently clean with the complimentary ODE cleaning cloth provided to remove skin oils, dirt, and moisture

  2. Keep it dry - Away from Water & Humidity

    Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or using saunas

  3. Rotate Your Jewellery

    Avoid daily wear of the same pieces to reduce wear on plating

  4. Apply Products First, Then Jewellery

    Let perfumes, lotions, and sprays dry completely before wearing

  5. Store in a Dry, Airtight Container

    Use zip-lock bags, anti-tarnish pouches, or containers with silica gel. Store pieces separately

  6. Handle with care

    Avoid dropping or knocking (stones or chains can fall easily). Put jewellery on last and take it off first (helps avoid accidental damage while dressing)

Dont's:

  1. Don't Expose to Air or Sunlight Long-Term

    Avoid storing in open trays or windowsills. Air and UV light cause fading.

  2. Don't Use Harsh Chemicals or Alcohol

    Perfumes, cleaners, bleach, acetone, or vinegar can strip and tarnish finishes.

  3. Don't Rub or Polish Aggressively

    Over-cleaning damages delicate plating, especially in mixed metal designs.

  4. Don't Wear During Exercise or Manual Work

    Sweat, salt, and abrasion dull shine and weaken plating.

  5. Don't Store with Fine Jewellery

    Harder metals and stones can scratch or discolor costume jewellery.
